Dear AVDS members,

It is with great sadness that I report the passing of Dr. Bob Wiggs, who suffered a heart attack on Saturday and died on Sunday.  Dr. Wiggs was such an instrumental figure in the development of veterinary dentistry into what it is today.  Inventor, author, mentor, friend.

Cards can be sent to the clinic address:

12600 Coit Road
Dallas, TX 75251

If you could, don't call there directly - the lines will be pretty busy in the next few days.

Also, Heidi Lobprise has set up a blog site, please feel free to share any stories of Bob at
http://robertbrucewiggs.blogspot.com/2009/11/robert-bruce-wiggs.html

As soon as we know of the arrangements and options for memorial contributions, we'll let everyone know.

Sincerely,

John Lewis, VMD, FAVD, DAVDC
President, AVDS
